Psychiatric & Mental Health Care for HIV Treatment and Prevention Patients
Compassionate Mental Health Support Integrated
with HIV Prevention and Treatment
At Healthcare Unity Group, your mental health matters. We offer Psychiatric Medication Management and ongoing support exclusively for our HIV prevention, treatment, and Hep C patients. We believe in treating the whole person, not just a virus.
Why Choose Our Mental Health Services?
What We Provide
We begin with a comprehensive assessment of your mental health, including mood, substance use, anxiety, trauma, and social stressors. We schedule regular follow-up appointments to track progress, adjust treatment, and offer support.
When appropriate, we provide medications to help with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or other psychiatric conditions. We monitor side effects, interact with your existing HIV/Hep C medications, and adjust dosing as needed.
At HUG, we understand that healing is multidimensional. Our Medication-Assisted Therapy (MAT) program integrates FDA-approved medications with personalized clinical support to help manage cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, and promote lasting recovery. For our HIV prevention and treatment patients, MAT can be an essential part of holistic care—supporting medication adherence, mental health stability, and overall well-being. We meet you where you are with compassionate, evidence-based care designed to help you thrive in every aspect of your health.
If you ever feel unsafe, suicidal, or in crisis, we help you get immediate help and develop a safety plan. Our team is trained to respond sensitively to mental health emergencies in the context of HIV and addiction.
Who Qualifies
Our psychiatric and mental health services are available only to patients currently enrolled in HUG’s HIV prevention, treatment, and/or Hep C care programs. You must be an active patient receiving HIV or Hep C-related care to access these mental health supports.
